Tell me more about Pakasa: Three hundred years ago, the buildings were used as warehouses for ripening and preserving cheeses. The buildings are located next to the Cheese Market. After they ripened, the cheeses were weighed and traded in this square. Pakasa is a combined name of Pakhuis (warehouse), Kaas (cheese) and Casa (house in Spanish). Pakasa also means; coming home.
