Pararius is the largest independent housing website in the Netherlands. All estate agents and property developers can post their properties for sale and rent on Pararius, which ensures that you can search in one convenient overview on our website.

Pararius+ is an additional, paid service which informs you directly of the latest housing offers. As a result, you will know earlier which new properties are available which meet your search criteria, allowing you to respond more quickly and increasing your chances of being invited to view the property. Plus members get insight into the number of responses per property and can easily follow the status of the properties they have responded to. With our latest feature, the ‘Tenancy Profile’, you can easily share essential information, such as your income and living situation, with the landlord in one click. Try the first week now for €1.

On Pararius you can find a property as a house hunter for free. Via the search bar you can search for properties for sale or rent in your desired city, district or street. With our handy filters you can specify exactly what kind of property you are looking for. For example, the type of house, surface area, number of bedrooms and facilities in the house. Your search will be more targeted and you will find a home that suits you even faster.

Interested in a house? Register for free or take out a Pararius+ account and contact the estate agent via the ‘Contact’ button or by telephone.

It is possible to register for free on Pararius. Once you are registered, you will have an account in which you can view your details and searches, and which allows you to respond to properties without restriction.

Please note: an account on Pararius is mandatory, but you do not have to take a paid account. So you can still register and respond for free. Check out the additional features of Pararius+ here.

If you are interested in properties in different places of residence or are looking for different types of properties, it is possible to enable multiple searches at the same time. You can easily create additional searches by searching the website again in the desired city and specifying your housing needs by setting the appropriate filters. Then click on ‘Stay informed’ again at the top of the search results. You will find an overview of all your activated searches in your account. Here you can also delete your searches.

Log in to your account to delete your search(s). Here you will find an overview of all your searches. You can easily select and delete individual searches, or turn all searches on or off at once. In addition, in the e-mails you receive about your searches, you can choose to ‘change’ or ‘delete’ your searches at the bottom.

Through Pararius you can respond free of charge and directly to properties you are interested in by contacting the estate agent. You will find the contact details next to or at the bottom of the house advertisement. Is there no phone number displayed? Then you can send a message directly via the ‘Contact the estate agent’ button.

All offerings visible on Pararius must be available. The estate agent is responsible for registering and de-registering properties. It may happen that a property is no longer available but is still on the site. If you come across such a property, please report this via the ‘Report a problem with this property’ button, visible in the house advertisement. We will then check whether the estate agent acts in accordance with our code of conduct.

Estate agents receive a lot of reactions to properties. To make sure your response stands out among all the responses, we advise you to send enough information to the estate agent. In any case, make sure you tell something about yourself briefly, explain why you are interested in this property and give assurance about being able to bear the cost of living.

It is useful to have the following documents ready: a copy of your ID, a copy of your salary slip and an employer's statement or a statement from a guarantor.

Estate agents are not always in the office because they are viewing houses with interested parties. As a result, they may not always be available or may not respond quickly. We advise you to call on working days between 9am and 5.30pm, when most estate agents' offices are open.

If you have given the estate agent permission or expressly asked them to look for a property for you, then mediation fees may be charged. In all other cases, this is not allowed. Read more about mediation fees here.

All real estate agents affiliated to Pararius are checked on various criteria. Only real estate professionals are granted access to the platform. We also work with a code of conduct. Realtors who do not comply with this code of conduct are not allowed to post any housing offers on Pararius. Does an office still seem unreliable? Then make a report by emailing our support desk.

There may be scammers operating on online housing platforms. Pararius does its utmost to keep any form of illegality off its platform and only offer accurate and reliable housing ads.
