The apartment door is at the rear of the building, next to the elevator. The hall behind it gives access to the adjacent large bedroom, toilet, bathroom, utility room and finally the living room with open kitchen. The second bedroom and the conservatory are accessible from the living room.
The living room with conservatory faces West and has a beautiful view of the Amsterdam skyline and the Amstel. The conservatory is bathed in a sea of light, especially from the early afternoon. The two wide doors in the conservatory can be opened completely, creating a wonderful place in the sun.
The kitchen was renovated in 2019 and has a U-shaped countertop with upper and lower cabinets, 1½ sink, a four-burner induction hob with an extractor hood above, an oven and a dishwasher. Next to the sink is a tall cabinet with a refrigerator and separate freezer. There is a private storage room in the basement, close to the elevator.
De Omval is located in the East district on the Amstel, on the border with the South district, at the foot of the Rembrandt Tower, near the Amstel station, within walking and cycling distance of various cafes and restaurants (including Hesp, Dauphine, Blookers, Ode aan de Amstel and the Ysbreker) and the green city beach on the Amstel next to the Amstelkwartier. There is no through car traffic on the Omval.
