Location:
In the shadow of Amsterdam, on the outside of the ring road in Amsterdam-Noord is Landsmeer. The apartment is located above the Landsmeer shopping centre.
The shopping center has a mix of national retail chains, local specialty stores and catering establishments. There is an occasional market.
There are two nature reserves around Landsmeer; the Twiske and the Ilperveld.
These special areas contain grass fields, reed fields and large bodies of water.
The Twiske is a large recreational area of 650 hectares, one third of which is water. Part of this is intended for intensive recreation. The area is very popular with cyclists, hikers, surfers and divers.
In the second nature reserve, the Ilperveld, you will find rare flora and fauna.
Accessibility:
A bus stop is within walking distance. There is a direct connection to Amsterdam-Sloterdijk and one to Amsterdam-Noord metro station.
By car you can reach Amsterdam-Noord metro station in 8 minutes. (Metro 52). If you have a car: you can still park for free in the immediate vicinity.
