What is certainly worth mentioning is the fact that Hoornaar has its own supermarket for daily shopping and a weekly market. The region has everything to offer you to enjoy a nice getaway. You can admire the area and its sights during a boat trip on the picturesque river De Giessen or from a horse-drawn tram or covered wagon. There is so much to experience in the Alblasserwaard and the Vijfheerenlanden that one day is never enough to see everything.
