Selection Procedure
Rotsvast reviews incoming emails in order of receipt. Due to the expected high demand, not all applicants will be invited for a viewing. An email application must include at least the following information:
- Name of tenant(s)
- Household composition
- Gross annual income of tenant(s)
Incomplete applications will not be processed. Viewings are scheduled based on order of application: first come, first served.
After the viewing, a screening will be conducted based on income and reliability using various (public) registers. Applicants must complete this screening successfully, achieving the highest score in our screening tool (Properize). The final decision on tenancy rests with the property owner. If multiple candidates successfully pass the screening, the choice will be based on income, screening results, and personal circumstances. Applicants will have the opportunity to explain their personal situation during the screening process.
If you are not selected after the screening, you have the right to access the screening report and receive an explanation of the decision.
Important
Rotsvast represents the interests of the property owner, who seeks immediate rental. Once a candidate successfully completes the screening, their file is immediately submitted to the owner. If a file has already been accepted at that time, new applications will no longer be considered. It is the responsibility of prospective tenants to submit a complete file as soon as possible.
